The **PDF Compare** tool allows you to upload two versions of a PDF document (Original and Modified) and perform a comprehensive analysis to find exactly what changed. - For visual diffing, it is highly recommended to upload documents with the exact same page dimensions.
- Use the 'Ignore Metadata' or 'Ignore Margins' toggles in the Settings panel to reduce false positives.
Pro Tips
You can filter the page list to show 'Only Changed Pages' using the dropdown above the comparison summary.
In the Text Diff viewer, type a page number in the 'Jump to Page' input to instantly snap to that section.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs strictly locally via JavaScript in your browser. Even the export generation happens locally.
Why does Visual Diff show everything in red?
If the page dimensions or margins changed drastically, the visual diff engine will struggle to align them. Try using the Text Diff viewer instead, or toggle 'Ignore Margins' in the settings.
Can I compare password-protected PDFs?
Currently, encrypted or password-protected PDFs are not supported and must be unlocked before comparison.
